President Al-Mashat praises national broadcasts’ great role

SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, praised on Monday the great role played by national radio stations, foremost of which is Sana’a Radio, in terms of strengthening the national steadfastness front in the face of aggression.

In a statement to the official Yemeni News Agency (Saba), President Al-Mashat congratulated those in charge of the national broadcasts on the occasion of International Radio Day.

President Al-Mashat urged the national broadcasts to continue giving and successes on the awareness front, expressing his confidence that they would play a greater role in confronting the aggression and keeping pace with the government’s achievements in light of this difficult circumstance.

“The radio stations, during eight years of aggression, had a great impact on the battle of awareness, confronting the misleading and false media of aggression, and spreading the heroism and achievements of the Yemeni people in the battle of liberation and independence,” he said.
