SOCOTRA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Abu Dhabi government has taken new measures in the Socotra archipelago in southern Yemen, as part of its desperate attempts to strip the strategic island from its Yemeni fabric and annex it to the UAE.
Local media reported quoting sources that the UAE imposed a visa for everyone who wants to go to the occupied Yemeni archipelago.
The UAE has informed all airline offices that whoever wants to go to the Yemeni island of Socotra must travel to it, passing through Abu Dhabi, to obtain an Emirati visa, according to the sources.
The UAE’s violations of Yemeni sovereignty over the Yemeni island of Socotra are increasing day after day, amid the silence of the “government” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.
