WORLD, Feb. 04 (YPA) – Wang Yi, director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said on Friday that China does not accept any groundless speculation about the balloon.
He made the remarks during a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The Foreign Ministry quoted Wang Yi as saying that “China is a responsible country and always strictly adheres to international law, and Beijing does not accept any baseless speculation or propaganda.”
This comes after the US Secretary of State announced on Friday the “Balloon of the Republic of China” incident, he had decided to postpone a visit to the Chinese capital scheduled for Sunday.
Blinken said the United States had informed China of the move at various levels. At the same time, the foreign minister refused to announce new dates, explaining that it would be too early to talk about it before resolving the current incident.
On the other hand, a video circulating spotted an explosion in the sky over Billings Montana in the United States of America, where he was flying a Chinese “spy” balloon.
