Palestinian Foreign Ministry called for adding Zionist settler organizations to terrorist lists

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 30 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Monday the “escalating Zionist settler terrorism against Palestinian citizens,” demanding that extremist Zionist settler organizations to be added to terrorist lists.

“We condemn in the strongest terms the armed settler militia’s escalating terrorism against Palestinian citizens, their land, homes, properties, and sanctities, the latest of which was the commission of more than 120 attacks during one night in the southern Nablus area, and their burning of a house and vehicles and the writing of racist slogans in Turmusaya,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The statement referred to the storming of the Al-Auja village in the Jordan Valley and an attempt to burn a house, and the injury of two young men and the burning of two vehicles by settler terrorist gangs in the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, in addition to their provocative marches in the Old City of Quds and their continuous storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry affirmed that “the protection provided by the political level in the occupying country to the settlers and their gangs, and the support and assistance provided by the Israeli government to the settlements encourages elements of Jewish terrorism to commit more violations and crimes, especially with regard to expanding the process of arming them without an officer or law.”

It warned of “the consequences of the settler militia committing major crimes or massacres against Palestinian citizens.”

The ministry called for “a firm and practical international and American position to stop the Israeli escalation in general and settler attacks and terrorism in particular.”
