French politician calls on France to withdraw from NATO after declaring conflict with Russia

WORLD, Jan. 30 (YPA) – Florian Filippo, the leader of the French Patriots party, said that France should leave NATO after Admiral Rob Bauer, head of the military committee of the North Atlantic Alliance, announced that the alliance was ready for a direct confrontation with Russia.

“NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Rob Bauer says the bloc states must switch to a ‘war economy’ and the alliance is ‘ready’ for conflict with Russia! These nutcases want a third world war, let’s get out of NATO, long live peace!” Florian Filippo wrote on his twitter account.

Bauer had previously said that NATO was ready for a direct confrontation with Russia.

He noted that after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, he decided to strengthen the eastern flank of the alliance, calling it “an important signal to the Russians”.

Bauer added that the Russian army is better armed and the alliance should be rearmed as much as possible. According to him, it is necessary to put the European economy on the battlefield.
