Saudi leaks reveal coalition’s plan to overthrow Sultan Al-Arada

MARIB, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Chairman of the Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council”, Rashad Al-Alimi, returned to the city of Aden with a new decision to overthrow Sultan Al-Arada from the leadership of the local authority in Marib province.

“There is an expected decision to appoint Sheikh Dhiab bin Muili as governor of Marib, in conjunction with Rashad Al-Alimi’s return to Aden,” a Saudi writer and analyst, Abdulaziz Al-Shehri, said on Twitter.

The talk about overthrowing Al-Arada, who is serving as governor of Marib and a leader of Islah Party, comes in light of the rapid moves that Riyadh making to settle differences with the UAE in Yemen.

The Saudi-led coalition is controlling the city of Marib only, after Sanaa forces have managed to control the entire province of Marib for the last year. However, the coalition forces represented by the Islah party still control the gas and oil sources in the Safer fields, southeast of the city of Marib.
