STC holds military parade in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia held a military parade on the wounds of the sons of the Mudiyah tribesmen, after committing a horrific massacre against them in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

According to media sources affiliated with the STC, the leader Mohsen Al-Wali Al-Yafei attended the military parade carried out by the units and companies of the “Third Brigade”, less than 24 hours after the militia committed a horrific massacre against the members of the Al-Fahtan tribe, in the Al-Baqirah area of Mudiyah district, which left 4 dead and more than 5 wounded, including women and children, under the pretext of confronting terrorism.

The sources confirmed that the commander of the “Third Brigade” Akram Al-Hanashi Al-Yafei, praised the successes achieved by his militias against al-Qaeda elements in Mudiyah and Wadi Omran, indicating that the “STC” militia is under a suffocating siege.

On the other hand, the Mudiyah tribes announced their armed alert in the face of the “STC” militia after a funeral was held for four of their sons who were brutally killed by the  STC’s militia fire on Monday, while defending their homes in the village of Al-Baqirah, and preventing the militia from storming it.
