Yemeni riyal witnesses new recovery against foreign currency in Sanaa

SANAA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Tuesday witnessed new relative recovery against foreign currencies in the areas under the control of the National Salvation Government, reaching 557 riyal per US dollar and 144 riyals per Saudi riyal.

In the southern provinces of Aden and Hadramout, controlled by the Saudi-led coalition, the exchange rates of riyal continued to decline against foreign currencies, reaching 1,236 riyals per US dollar and 327 per Saudi riyal.
