Over 24,000 kg of expired fish, marine life destroyed

HODEIDA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The control and inspection teams of the General Authority for Fisheries in Hodeida province on Monday destroyed 24,697 kilograms of fish and marine life expired during the year 2022.

The Director General of the General Department of Fisheries, Muhammad Al-Selwi, said that the destruction process took place in accordance with legal procedures, after examining quantity, its conformity with quality standards and its suitability for human use.
