Cloudy weather expected to cover most of Yemen provinces

SANAA, Jan. 08 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Sunday cloudy weather with heavy fog in most of Yemeni provinces.

In its weather bulletin, the center pointed to the fog may prevail over on separate areas of the heights of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan and Dhalea, with active winds reaching up to 32 knots on the south of the Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al -Mandab.

It stated that the lowest temperatures recorded in some air monitoring stations, reaching 5 in Dhamar, 6.4 in Amran, 7 in Sanaa, and 9.5 in Ibb.

The center warned citizens in the cold areas to take the necessary precautions from the cold weather, calling on motorists to drive carefully on the mountainous roads as a result of heavy fog.
