Human Rights Ministry condemns Saudi regime crimes committed in Yemen border areas

SANAA, Jan. 07 (YPA) – Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned on Saturday the crimes committed by the Saudi army and border guards against civilians and African migrants in the Yemen’s border areas.

In a statement, the ministry was surprised by the continued silence of the international community and international bodies and organizations, led by the United Nations towards the Saudi regime’s crimes, the latest of which was the killing a citizen and the injury of 11 others.

“We remind the world, with all its humanitarian bodies, that the victims of the Saudi attacks, since the beginning of the truce, have reached 2,258, including 285 martyrs in the border districts of Saada, and artillery and machine guns are still hitting the heads of civilians and immigrants,” the statement said.

It called on the free world, human rights and humanitarian organizations, to put pressure on the Saudi regime to prevent the perpetration of more genocide crimes against Yemeni citizens and African immigrants on the strip and border areas, and to move in accordance with its humanitarian principles to condemn these crimes and hold the perpetrators accountable.
