PROVINCES, Jan. 06 (YPA) – A citizen was killed today in Hodaida governorate while a child was injured in Marib governorate as a result of mine explosions left by Saudi-led coalition forces.
The Executive Center for Mine Action said that a civilian was killed in Al-Hawk district of Hodeida due to a landmine explosion left by the coalition forces.
The center added, that a child was injured by an explosion of cluster bomb left over from the coalition forces in Sirwah district of Marib.
It is worth noting that the threat of remnants of the coalition’s weapons continues to await new victims as a result of widespread contamination, excessive use of cluster bombs and the lack of landmine detectors.
These tragedies came in light of international silence about the crime of the US-Saudi aggression by preventing the entry of mine detectors, which represents an obstruction of humanitarian work, and deliberate harm to the largest number of Yemenis.
