SHABWA, Jan. 05 (YPA) – The UAE-funded militia imposed on Thursday a suffocating siege on the citizens’ villages in Markha area of Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.
Sources familiar with stated that the leadership of the UAE forces in Shabwa sent a large military campaign from its militias to Al-Washija Al-Talibi area in Markah al-Sufla, to demand the extradition of one of those accused of murder.
The sources pointed out that the militia, armed with various types of weapons, created a state of terror among the people, especially women and children, amid the absence of state authorities in the militia-controlled areas since the beginning of 2016.
The sources indicated that the militants of the Al-Talibi tribes had created military fortifications in the vicinity of the area, to defend themselves in case the militia committed any folly against citizens.
Shabwa districts, which are under the control of the UAE militia, are witnessing security chaos and tribal feuds that the countries of the aggression coalition sought to deepen among the tribes of the province.
