3 centers for sheltering IDPs opened in Hodeidah

HODIEDAH, June 28 (YPA) – Acting governor of Hodeidah province, Mohammed Quhaim, on Thursday opened three centers for sheltering the internally displace people (IDPs) in the western city of Hodeidah.

The centers were equipped with support and funding of Bonyan Development Foundation, which is a non-government and non-profit organization.

In the opening ceremony, Quhaim praised this humanitarian initiative and the foundation’s efforts aiming to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the continued war and siege.

The three centers will accommodate 61 displaced families, with members up to more than 300 displaced people, the foundation’s representative, Ibrahim al-Warith said.

Al-Warith added that the foundation is intending to equip and open seven other centers in the province to accommodate 145 displaced families.
