Defense Minister warns coalition against continuing to play with humanitarian file

SANAA, Jan. 03 (YPA) – Minister of Defense of Sana’a government, Major General Mohammed Al-Atefi, warned on Tuesday the Saudi-led coalition against continuing to play with the humanitarian file, which will lead the entire region to the brink of disaster.

This came during the meeting held by the National Salvation Government to discuss developments on the military side and the internal situation in light of the recent coalition escalation on Saada province.

Maj. Gen. Al-Atefi said that the coalition has resorts to psychological warfare and lying rumors to target the home front after failing to undermine the will of the people through its aggression and siege.

The minister indicated that the Yemeni army will continue to rely on the principle of strategic deterrence until the aggressors understand that Sanaa will not compromise on the people’s rights and will work to extract them.

The minister pointed out that the free Yemenis do not care about the size of the risks and sacrifices that may occur in the event that the aggressors insist on missing the opportunity for peace.
