15-year-old Palestinian boy killed by Israeli occupation forces in Bethlehem

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 03 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a 15-year-old Palestinian boy during a military raid into the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem city, on Tuesday  morning.

According to Palestinian sources, Adam Ayyad, a 15-year-old resident of the Dheisheh camp, was shot in the chest by an Israeli live bullet, and he was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Earlier in the morning, Israeli occupation forces raided the camp at dawn today and started storming and searching several Palestinian houses.

Confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and Zionist soldiers who attacked the residents by firing tear gas canisters, live bullets and rubber-coated metal bullets towards them, injuring two boys, including Ayyad who later died of his wounds.

The factional coordination committee mourned the martyr Adam Ayyad from Dheisheh refugee camp and announced a general strike in Bethlehem.
