2 Bomb attacks target vehicles of UAE-backed forces in Shabwa

SHABWA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Two successive attacks with explosive devices in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen, on Thursday targeted two vehicles belonging to the so-called “Al-Amaliqa Brigades” funded by the UAE, local sources said.

The sources added that the double explosion occurred after the vehicles had passed in Al-Salaf area between the districts of Nisab and Markha, without any injuries among the fighters.

This comes after the outbreak of clashes on Wednesday between Al-Qarameesh tribes and members of the Al-Amaliq Brigades due to the conflict over the levies and royalties imposed on “Qat” sellers in “Ayath” market in Jardan area.
