SANAA, Dec. 26 (YPA) – Member of the political bureau of Ansarullah, Ali al-Qahoum, said on Monday Sanaa would be free from any commitments to a ceasefire.
“Sanaa is awaiting the commendable efforts of the brothers in the Sultanate of Oman,” he stated on Twitter.
Al-Qahoum indicated that the position conveyed by the Omani delegation was accompanied by a clear warning from the leader of the revolution, that any economic measures targeting the situation in Yemen would turn the tables and return things to square one.
He pointed out that the coalition countries must hasten to take a practical position in order to meet the humanitarian benefits of the Yemeni people, foremost of which is the payment of salaries.
Al-Qahoum stressed the armed forces imposed new rules of engagement, noting that stopping the war by coalition countries depends on lifting the siege completely, paying salaries permanently, and leaving the occupying forces.
