HADRAMOUT, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The province of Hadramout witnessed on Sunday a new military rebellion, coinciding with the escalation of tension between forces loyal to the coalition with the failure to resolve its fate.
According to media reports, dozens of members of the Hadrami Elite, formed by the UAE, in Mukalla and loyal to the transitional announced their defection and joining the demands of Hadrami citizens by declaring the so-called state of Hadramout.
The dissidents demand the opening of Al-Rayyan airport, where Emirati troops are camped, and the departure of all foreign troops from the province’s territory.
The UAE recently reduced the dues of these military factions after the dismissal of Al-Bahsani from its leadership, which provoked a curse in their ranks.
