Meteorology calls on citizens to take necessary precautions against cold weather

SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected cold to very cold weather in several provinces of Yemen during the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its daily weather bulletin that the cold weather would hit the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea, Taiz, Rayma, Ibb, Mahweet and Jawf.

The bulletin pointed out the possibility of active to strong winds, with a speed reaching 28 knots, on the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

It warned citizens in cold areas to take the necessary precautions and to wear suitable winter clothes to prevent cold weather.
