Attack targets “Hadrami Day” event in Mukalla

HADRAMOUT, Dec.20 (YPA) –  The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) Militia confiscated large quantities of slogans and flags were used in the so-called the “Hadrami Day” Festival in the center of Mukalla, the center of Hadramout governorate, eastern Yemen.

Local sources in the city confirmed that militia members of the “Hadrami Elite “stormed a tailoring shop on Monday and confiscated banners and flags for the “Hadrami Day” Festival to be held on Tuesday in all cities of Hadramout, Mahra and Socotra.

The sources indicated that the elements attacked the shop with various types of weapons, and took the quantity present by force of arms, without giving more details about the incident.

It is noteworthy that the “Hadrami Day” event, funded by Saudi Arabia, raised slogans against the UAE and its factions present in the governorate.
