SANAA, Dec. 18 (YPA) – A cold wave is to be expected to go on to prevail over the large parts of the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours, the National Meteorological Center said on Sunday.
In its daily weather bulletin, the center affirmed the wave would hit the large parts of the highlands of the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Jawf and Marib.
It stated that the cold weather would hit also Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea, Taiz, Raymah, Mahweet and Ibb province.
According to the center, active to very fast winds may blow, with a maximum speed of 30 knots, working on wave height and sea turbulence.
The center warned citizens and farmers in cold provinces, as well as travelers to them, calling for taking the necessary precautions against the cold weather.
