Zionist enemy declares responsibility for attack on convoy of trucks on Syrian-Iraqi border

WORLD, Dec. 14 (YPA) – Chief of Staff of the Zionist occupation enemy, Aviv Kochavi, admitted on Wednesday its attack that targeted a convoy of trucks at the Syrian-Iraqi border a few weeks ago, claiming that the attack targeted weapons.

Kochavi said: “Our forces are the ones who attacked the truck convoy on the Syrian-Iraqi border,” adding that they had clear intelligence information, and hit Truck No. 8, which was carrying weapons, and did not harm the rest, as he claimed.

On the 8th of last November, a Zionist air force targeted a convoy of oil tanks at the Iraqi-Syrian border.

“Unews” agency confirmed, “The attack targeted a convoy of fuel tanks inside Syrian territory after crossing from Iraq towards the Syrian city of Al-Bukamal,” which led to a fire in two of the tanks.
