Meteorology Center expects very cold weather in 13 provinces

SANAA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Wednesday cold to very cold weather during the night and early morning in the provinces Saada, Amran, Dhamar, Byada, Dhalea, Ibb and the high areas in Abyan, Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Jawf, and Marib provinces during next 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center warned the elderly, children, patients, workers during the late hours of the night and early morning, travelers and farmers of the cold weather, calling for taking the necessary precautions to prevent themselves.

The center pointed to active winds that reach a maximum speed of 28 knots over the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, warning fishermen and sea-goers of sea turbulence and high waves.
