Meteorology warns against cold wave during coming hours

SANAA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology announced on Sunday that a cold wave would be expected in several Yemeni provinces.

In its weather forecast, the center pointed out that the wave would prevail over the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda, Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea and Ibb.

It affirmed that active to strong winds, with a speed between 15-28 knots, on the south of the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the western Gulf of Aden.

The center warned citizens, including travelers, to take the necessary precautions against the cold weather.
