About 25 tons of expired medicines destroyed in Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 08 (YPA) – The Public Health Office destroyed 25 tons of expired medicines in the capital Sanaa.

Director of the health office, Dr. Mutahar Al-Marouni, said that destroying this quantity came after completing the legal procedures.

He stressed keenness to withdraw and confiscate all expired medicines and medical supplies, and to destroy them in proper ways.

Al-Marouni referred to the efforts exerted to strengthen control and inspection procedures on medical and pharmaceutical facilities and drug stores, in order to preserve the safety and lives of citizens.
