RIYADH, Dec. 04 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has underestimated the return of the president of the Riyadh-formed “Presidential Council”, Rashad Al-Alimi, to Aden city on Sunday, indicating dissatisfaction with his sudden return.
This comes hours after his arrival in the city coming from the UAE.
Abdullah Al Hatila, assistant editor-in-chief of the Saudi official Okaz newspaper, indicated in a statement to the media that Al-Alimi would not be able to achieve what he described as “the aspirations of the Yemeni people” without sufficient support from what he described them as the Arab rejecting “projects of Iran,” referring to his country.
Al-Alimi left Saudi Arabia a week ago, angry at its decision to refuse to hand over the deposit estimated at $3 billion and replace it with a new loan supervised by the Arab Monetary Fund under the name of “reforms.”
He toured Jordan and the UAE, where Abu Dhabi, which announced support for him at a value of 300 million dollars, held a reconciliation session between him and Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), before allowing him to return to Aden.
