Gold prices witness decline in Yemeni goldsmiths’ shops
SANAA, Dec. 01 (YPA) – Gold prices witnessed slight decline in the Yemeni goldsmiths’ markets in the capital, Sanaa, where the price of a gold pound to 236,000 riyals, while it reached 470,000 riyals in the southern province, controlled by Saudi-led coalition forces.
The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 24 karat: Purchase = 31,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER), Sale = 34,000 YER.
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase =27,000 YER, Sale = 29,500 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 236,000 YER, Sale = 220,000 YER.
The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 24 karat: Purchase = 63,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER), Sale = 69,000 YER
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 56,000 YER, Sale = 62,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 470,000 YER, Sale = 480,000 YER.
