Coalition mercenaries formed teams to assassinate leaders of Ansarullah, Islah Party: Security Media

SANAA, June 27 (YPA) – Mercenaries loyal to Saudi-led coalition have formed specialized assassination teams in several Yemeni provinces to target leaders of Ansarullah and Islah Party, the security media of Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.

The security media revealed video footage of confessions of a member of a cell affiliated to Tariq Saleh, a nephew of the slain former president Saleh and loyal to the UAE occupation forces in Aden.

The cell member, Ali Ahmed Mohammed Saleh al-Azzani, confessed that a plan has been prepared and assassinations teams distributed in the provinces of Taiz, Hodeidah, Raymah, Dhamar and the capital Sanaa, under the supervision of the ex-undersecretary of the Yemeni National Security Ammar Mohammed Saleh, Tariq’s brother.

The teams’ leader Akram Hajar, a former officer of the national security and a media activist loyal to Tariq Saleh, fled to the southern port city of Aden after the events of December 2, 2018 witnessed by the capital Sanaa and several provinces.
