WORLD, Dec. 01 (YPA) – Japan has taken an unprecedented decision to stop production of a new fighter with the United States because Lockheed Martin is unwilling to provide it with advanced technology.
In the same vein, the Japanese Ministry of Defense chose to cooperate with Britain and Italy as partners in the project.
Since Japanese fighters have always been either manufactured in the United States or developed jointly with American companies, Tokyo’s decision led to an “unusual situation” in this area, according to Japanese media.
