Iranian Foreign Ministry summons French ambassador to protest

TEHRAN, Dec. 01 (YPA) – Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned on Wednesday the French ambassador to Tehran, Nicolas Riche.

This comes against the backdrop of the French Foreign Minister’s statements regarding Iran and the passing of an interventionist resolution to the French parliament on developments in the country.

The Iran News Agency “IRNA” stated that, following the unacceptable statements of the French Foreign Minister in the National Assembly of his country and the passage of an interventionist resolution in the French Parliament on developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nicolas Riche, the French ambassador to Tehran, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry this afternoon.

During the meeting, the ambassador was informed of a strongly worded protest in response to the false accusations of the French authorities against Iran.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry also condemned and denounced these unacceptable interferences.
