Rocket attack targets base of US occupation forces in Syria

SANAA, Nov. 27 (YPA) – The base of the American occupation army in the oil city of Al-Shaddadi, south of Al-Hasakah province, eastern Syria, was subjected on Saturday to a missile attack.

“Sputnik” correspondent quoted local sources, as saying that 3 Katyusha rockets hit the illegal American base into the city of Al-Shaddadi, 50 km south of the city of Al-Hasakah.

The sources added that the “international coalition forces” led by the US army witnessed a great alert in the city and its countryside, with intense flight of US drones and helicopters over the sky of the city, and a heavy deployment of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) patrols.

In the context of targeting the US presence in Syria, the US Central Command announced, in mid-November, a missile attack targeted the forces affiliated with the International Coalition in the countryside of Deir ez-Zur province in Syria.

It stated that the attack did not result in casualties or damage to the base or property of the international coalition.
