Armenian soldier injured on border with Azerbaijan

WORLD, Nov. 24 (YPA) – The Armenian Ministry of Defense affirmed that one of its soldiers was injured as a result of shelling on the border with Azerbaijan.

In A statement, the Ministry of Defense said that units of Azerbaijani armed forces fired in the direction of Armenian positions located along the eastern part of the border, leaving one solider wounded on November 22.

Military authorities in Armenia and Azerbaijan again accused each other of ceasefire violations after reporting fresh shooting along the two countries’ tense border overnight.
