7 people injured during putting out fire inside factory in Sanaa

SANAA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Three Civil Defense personnel and four workers were injured while putting out a fire that broke out on Wednesday at a battery factory in Jadar neighborhood of Bani al-Harith district in the capital Sanaa.

A source in the authority explained that the fire brigades rushed to the scene of the fire immediately after receiving the report and managed to extinguish the fire that broke out on the second floor of the battery factory, which resulted in minor burn injuries to three members of the civil defense during the rescue operation, along with four workers at the factory.

He confirmed that the fire was contained and prevented from moving to the first floor and neighboring houses, indicating that the competent security authorities are investigating about causes of the fire.
