Saudi Arabia stops program broadcasting on pro-STC channel

ADEN, Nov. 20 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has suspended broadcasting a television program on a TV  channel affiliated with the UE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s  militia after incitement against it .

Media outlets reported that Saudi Ambassador Mohammed Al Jaber stopped broadcasting the program “The Other Face” presented by Laila Rabie on the UAE-funded channel “Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq” after an episode that included threatening messages and incitement against Saudi Arabia, and expressed the STC’s dissatisfaction with the replacement of Tariq Affash’s forces in Aden.

According to the reports, the attempts to continue the program with an indirect apology in a new episode were met with a Saudi rejection.

The presenter Laila Rabie commented on the sudden suspension of the program in a post on “Twitter” by saying that she “apologizes to the viewers,” stressing “the end of her journey with the program  “the Other Face.”
