Dozens of bakeries closed in Sanaa

SANAA, Nov. 19 (YPA) – At least 37 bakers were closed for violations of prices and weight, as part of a field control campaign on the markets, according to the Office of Industry and Commerce in the capital Sanaa.

Director of the Industry and Trade Office in the capital, Majed Al-Sada, the campaign came due to breaking generalization issued by the office and raised prices.

Al-Sada pointed out that the awareness campaign about the new pricing and weight of the loaf of bread, which was carried out by 63 field committees targeted more than 3,000 bakeries, ovens and points of sale in various districts in the capital, and distributed to them circulars regarding the price of selling the new bread.
