Cold weather to be expected within next hours

SANAA, Nov. 19 (YPA) – The weather will be relatively cold in a number of the Yemeni provinces during the coming 24 hours, according to the National Center of Meteorology.

The center affirmed in its weather bulletin on Saturday that a cold wave would prevail over the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea and Ibb.

The center indicated to the possibility of active to very high-speed winds, ranging between 15-25 knots, on the south of the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the west of the Gulf of Aden.

The bulletin warned the elderly, children, patients, and workers during the night and early morning to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold weather.
