Hajjah local authority condemns abduction of 6 fishermen by coalition forces

HAJJAH, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Local authority in Hajjah governorate condemned the abduction  of six Yemeni fishermen by Saudi-led  coalition forces from the Midi district.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the local authority in the province considered the abduction of fishermen from the beaches of Bahis in Midi while they were fishing, a crime added to the criminal record of the US-Saudi coalition against Yemen.

The statement pointed out that the coalition seeks through these criminal practices to increase the suffering of Yemenis and starve them.

It stressed that these crimes will only increase the steadfastness of the people in the face of the coalition and its arrogance.

The statement blamed the international community and the United Nations for the coalition’s continued crimes against the Yemeni people for nearly eight years.
