Free medical camp to provide diagnostic services ended in Amran

AMRAN, Nov. 11 (YPA) – A free medical camp in the specialties of women, childbirth and children was concluded on Friday in the rural hospital in the Habur Zulaymah district of Amran province.

The four-day camp, which was organized the Republican Teaching Hospital Authority in the capital, aimed to provide free medical and diagnostic services and medicines to patients.

Head of the Authority, Dr. Mohammed Jahaf, explained that 1,800 cases benefited from the camp’s services in the fields of obstetrics, gynecology, children, medical examinations, with free medicines.

He affirmed the authority’s readiness to receive patients who need surgical intervention and perform operations free of charge in the capital, Sanaa.

Dr. Jahaf pointed out that the implementation of the free camp with the participation of a qualified medical staff came within the framework of the directives of the Minister of Public Health and Population to implement the camp to alleviate the suffering of citizens after his visit to the district last week.
