Ethiopian migrant kills Yemeni women, injures others in Shabwa

SHABWA, Nov. 09 (YPA) – Two women were killed on Wednesday and others were injured, by an Ethiopian immigrant in Shabwa province, southeast of Yemen.

Local sources said that an immigrant shepherd stabbed members of a family he was working in shepherding their sheep in the Markha district, then fled.

The sources confirmed that the killer was arrested after being chased by the people of the area.

Yemen is a destination to flow migrants from the countries of the Horn of Africa, especially Ethiopia and Somalia, and many of them aim to move on their difficult journey to the Gulf countries, especially Saudi Arabia.
