MARIB, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The Islah Party in the city of Marib demanded on Tuesday that military officials, led by Sagheer bin Aziz, be held accountable for the recent bombings of the third region’s weapons depots.
According to the media, quoting Abdullah Aboud Al-Sharif, son of the head of the party’s branch in the city, he indicated that it was agreed during Al-Shadadi’s leadership of the third Region to prevent the storage of weapons in the city center, but the matter was ignored.
Al-Sharif commenting on the explosions that rocked the warehouses of the third military region and caused civilians to fall due to the explosive shells.
Al-Sharif’s statements revealed “that there are differences between the forces affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition in the city of Marib that might be behind the explosion of the warehouses,” especially that the explosion came amid escalating tension between Islah and bin Aziz, which reached the point of fueling the fighting with the tribes.
