Local authority in Marib condemns bombing of arms depot

MARIB, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Local authority in Marib governorate on Monday night condemned the bombing of an arms depot in the camp of the so-called Third Military Region by elements of the US-Saudi coalition forces, which left civilian casualties.

In a statement to Yemeni news agency (SABA), The provincial leadership confirmed that the bombing of an arms depot containing shells and rockets in a camp in the middle of residential neighborhoods inside the city of Marib, and the intimidation of civilians, is a criminal act that reveals conflicts and differences between the aggression forces to cover up the theft and looting of weapons.

The statement held the Islah militia and the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition forces responsible for this bombing, which left civilian casualties and disrupted the public tranquility.

The bombing of the weapons depot comes two days after another crime committed by the Islah militia against the Al-Damashiqa tribes.

The local authority affirmed that the crimes of Islah militants against the people of the province will not pass without punishment.
