HODEIDA, Nov. 07 (YPA) – The Governor of Hodeida, Muhammad Quhim, and Head of the General Authority for Zakat, Shamsan Abu Nashtan, on Monday laid the foundation stone for a project to restore and rehabilitate 300 housing units damaged as a result of the aggression in Al-Durayhimi district, at a cost of 317 million riyals, funded by the General Authority for Zakat in the province.
During laying the foundation stone, Quhim praised the humanitarian projects implemented by the Zakat Authority, which touch the needs of the poor and needy.
He pointed out that the house restoration project will contribute to the return of the displaced to their homes in Al-Durayhimi.
For his part, Abu Nashtan explained that laying the foundation stone for this project came in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat for the return of the displaced to their homes.
On another hand, the governor of Hodeida and the head of the Zakat Authority inaugurated the distribution of zakat in kind in Al-Durayhimi district to 2000 families.
