Hajjah witnesses mass wedding festival of 800 grooms, brides

HAJJAH, Nov. 06 (YPA) – Hajjah province on Sunday witnessed the third mass wedding festival, organized by the General Authority for Zakat for 800 grooms and brides from the province, under the slogan “Together to facilitate dowries, immunize young people and confront the soft war.”

The festival, which was hosted by the Abs district in the presence of Governor Hilal Al-Sufi and Chairman of the General Authority for Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashtan, embodied the faith identity in its best image.

The Governor of Hajjah congratulated the newlyweds, praising the efforts of the Zakat Authority for organizing various charitable projects.

In turn, Sheikh Abu Nastan pointed out that Yemen has achieved great victories on the social front at a time when the enemies of Allah are professing infidelity and normalization with the Jews and Christians in the land of the Two Holy Mosques.
