Parliament reviews Defense, Security Committee’s report on Civil Defense Department

SANAA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – The Parliament, in its session on Tuesday, headed by the Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, reviewed the report of the Defense and Security Committee.

The report touched on the failure of the Ministry of Finance to implement the Cabinet’s decision to supply one percent of the budgets of independent and supplementary units, special funds, and economic units for the benefit of the Civil Defense Department.

The report referred to the content of the Cabinet decision and the documents attached to it, as well as the clarifications of specialists from the government side, including the ministries of interior and finance.

The Parliament adjourned its discussion of the report to a future session in the presence of the concerned government side.
