President Al-Mashat urges Public Works Ministry to strengthen its supervisory role on road projects

SANAA Oct. 31 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat,on Monday stressed the importance of strengthening the role of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads in supervising the implementation of road projects.

He also urged the ministry to support and encourage community initiatives in the field of roads, especially in light of the exceptional conditions resulting from the continued aggression and siege on the homeland.

This came during his discussion today with the Minister of Public Works and Roads, Ghaleb Mutlaq, on the workflow in the ministry, the level of implementation of its programs and plans for the current year, and the difficulties it faces.

The meeting reviewed the ministry’s programs and activities that have been implemented, and its role in preparing technical and engineering studies and designs, as well as counting and evaluating the damage and losses caused by the aggression in various sectors.
