President directs releasing prisoners included in amnesty decree
SANAA – President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh al-Sammad on Wednesday met with parliament speaker Ali al-Ra’ee, head of the Supreme Judicial Council Ahmed al-Mutawakil, Interior Minister Abdul Hakim al-Mawri and Public Prosecutor Majid al-Dirbabi.
SANAA – President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh al-Sammad on Wednesday met with parliament speaker Ali al-Ra’ee, head of the Supreme Judicial Council Ahmed al-Mutawakil, Interior Minister Abdul Hakim al-Mawri and Public Prosecutor Majid al-Dirbabi.
President al-Sammad directed relevant governmental bodies to complete procedures to release those who were included in the amnesty decree.
The president also ordered establishment of specialized committees to study the files of criminal prisoners and release those who have served their sentences.
