Several UAE militias wounded in Abyan attack

ABYAN, Oct. 31 (YPA) – A number of the UAE-funded militia were injured on Monday in an ambush planted al-Mahfad district of Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Sources in the province reported that unnamed gunmen targeted a military vehicle belonging to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia, with a number of explosive devices in Wadi Hamra of the district.

This came after unidentified gunmen targeted an ambulance carrying wounded members of the STC militia in the same district at the beginning of this week.
