35 people arrested in protests in Norway

WORLD, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Norway police arrested more than 30 members of the Northern Resistance Movement, a neo-Nazi organization in Northern Europe, in the Norwegian capital during a demonstration of the movement’s supporters, NRK TV reported.

Police told the TV channel: “Now we are taking control over the situation in the city centre and 35 people were arrested.”

It is noteworthy that some demonstrators refused to obey the demands of the law enforcement elements.

According to Norwegian police, members of the organization have not applied to local authorities to have a permission to organize a demonstration.
