SANAA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Defense Minister in Sanaa Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser al-Atefi called on the Saudi-led coalition countries to stop their absurd aggressive war on Yemen, whose continuation will only bring destruction to the region.

This came during his visit on Saturday, along with the commander of the Central Military Region, Commander of the Republican Guard and Special Forces, Major General Abdul-Khaleq Al-Houthi, to see the fighters of the Yemeni armed forces in the advanced military sites in Marib province.

He affirmed that the Sanaa has a decision and only sovereignty to protect oil wealth sovereign resources of Yemen.

“The coalition countries asked for a truce in an attempt to steal the triumphs achieved by the Yemeni people and their armed forces, as they looted the wealth of our people,” said Al-Atefi, noting that the coalition has two options, either a truce and salaries or missiles drones.”

The minister explained that the coalition worked during the truce to rearrange its situation by purchasing various air defenses, stressing that the enemy’s defenses would not protect it from the specific strikes of the Yemeni armed forces, if it did not abide by the terms of extending the truce.

“If the coalition continues to defy and besiege our people, we will make ballistic missiles and drones in the skies of their countries like locusts,” he warned.

The minister affirmed that the international community, the Security Council and the United Nations Organization have turned into a cover and contributed by silence in wasting Yemen’s sovereign wealth and trading in the capabilities of the Yemeni people.
